Please find attached a statement from our veterinary clinic that Max  was seen on 12/26 and is doing great. 
He was quite a surprise for our 8 1/2 old Matthew on Christmas morning
(he was in total shock for about 30 minutes) and they are already life-long friends. 

There isn't a waking moment that both of the boys aren't playing with him...which could be why he sleeps so well during the night :)
I truly believe we must have gotten the smartest puppy in the world.  He has adjusted nicely, is already going to the door to be let out to go  to the bathroom and has only had one accident

 (knock on wood) in the week since we have had him. 

 He has definitely been a super addition to our family!
I have also attached a picture of our son with Max.  Thanks again, I am
so glad that we found you!  I hope it's ok to send updates as we grow
with our new puppy.

UPDATE

Forwarding the latest picture of our puppy.  At 4 months old he now weights 36 pounds and is taller than his owner (our 8-year old when both are sitting). The second picture is of his favorite night time ritual...falling asleep in Matthew's lap.  What a joy he continues to be!

Dear Jill,

We just wanted to keep you updated on our Sophie (Breck & Balu litter 8-31-2006); she’s 8 months and a very big girl now.  She loves tennis balls and squeaky toys.  Sophie is a free-spirited but gentle doggie.  Her free will is becoming an issue, so we are having a professional trainer help us with training her correctly!  We had her spayed last month and she tipped the scales at 80 lbs.  Our vet keeps upping the weight each time he sees her.  She is quite beautiful and very fluid in her movements.  She has made some great friends at daycare (she goes about 4 times a month).   Everyone comments on her beautiful color.  It’s quite funny because as big as she is, she has made great friends with some of the tiniest dogs.
